At just two feet tall, Khagendra Thapa Magar is due to be named the world’s smallest man on his 18th birthday in October this year.
He and his family hope to receive official confirmation from Guinness World Records, that little Khagendra will replace the current record holder, 20 year old He PIng Ping of China, who is 5 inches taller than Khagendra.
Brought up in the Baglung District of Nepal 125 miles away from the capital Kathmandu, Khagendra weighs only 10lbs. Although the cause of his size has never been medically confirmed, doctors in Nepal who have examined him believe Khagendra to suffer from a malfunctioning pituitary gland.
A fan of karate and volleyball, Khagendra applied to Guinness in 2006, but was refused recognition because he was not yet 18. Currently enjoying the backing of Nepalese Government ministers in his quest to be named the world’s smallest man, Khagendra wants to become known as the world’s most famous dancer and to visit America.

OOOhhh he is soooooo sweet!!!, i love his smiley little face and nature. I saw him on a programme on t.v and he was adorable in that too!!. You could just pick him up!!. I am a very small little lady (4ft 8inches) due to a spine problem and it’s soooo cute being little. Hope he goes on to do well and fulfill all his dreams!!. You go Khagendra!!.
