Danger man Heinz Zak could churn the strongest of stomachs with his mind blistering highline balancing act.

In a jaw-dropping show of bravery, the hyper-focused extreme climber calmly walks across a tiny inch-wide strip of material — casually ignoring that fact that nothing but thousands of feet of nothing stands between him and the valley floor.

For the past eight years Austrian-born Heinz, a man who lives life on a knife-edge, has toured the world looking for the perfect spots to set up his highline and do what he loves best.

Defying those who think he is just another stuntman looking for the next rush, the 51-year-old from Scharnitz amazingly says it’s all about finding peace and “losing himself.”
