Described as having “a lot of issues going on,” a 19-year-old man from Philadelphia is facing animal-cruelty charges after he allegedly wrapped a cat in duct tape and subsequently dumped it in a neighbour’s yard.
James Davis apparently taped the little kitty out of impulse after he found her in his parents’ yard in North Philadelphia.
The grey tabby otherwise known as Sticky was reportedly taped from neck down to tail and was left in a shopping bag in the backyard for 12 hours last week.
She was sedated while veterinarians removed the tape. Other than being dehydrated she was not harmed and is now OK.
Dozens of people have claimed to be Sticky’s owner but no one has been able to prove it. Understandably, over 100 other people have offered to adopt Sticky.
As for Davis? If convicted, he faces up to two years in prison and a minimum $1000 fine.

Oh. My. God. I cannot believe that someone would do this to an animal! It really makes me want to cry..I would adopt her in a heartbeat!
I love the last photo. Sticky seems so unphased by this tragedy. Cats truly do have nine lives! I hope this scumbags gets it up the ass in jail.

The cat was returned from obvious death. It was attempt to murder and the guilty should get death punishment or life imprisonment!
