Never one to turn down a photo op Andre, the two legged dog, strikes a pose in Denver, Colorado.

Andre was forced to chew off his front and back left paws after getting trapped in a wolverine trap in Alaska in March 2008.

Found weighing just 38 pounds, the three-and-a-half-year-old dog was near to death when state troopers picked him up.

Nursed back to health by the staff of Alaska Dog and Puppy Rescue, Andre was flown to Denver, Colorado, to have prosthetic limbs fitted in April 2009.

Fitted by Amy Kauffmann of replacement limb firm Orthopets, Andre is now happily living with his new owner!
