A dog mother misses her given-away puppies so much she has adopted a kitten as her puppy.
Granny Meng at Jianai village, southern China’s Guangxi province, said she had owned her pet dog for five years, and two months ago the dog gave birth to puppies. Soon after she gave birth, Meng gave them all away to friends and neighbours.
Meng said a friend gave her a kitten recently and surprisingly the dog adopted the kitty immediately as her puppy.
If the kitten feels hungry, it will scratch at the dog, who will then lie down and let the kitten suckle for milk.
They also eat together and sleep in the same den!
