This unique new plane is set to be 2010’s must have toy for ambitious weekend warriors. Called the Icon A5, the two-seater unit is a curious cross between a jet ski and a propeller aircraft.

Having recently passed its safety trials in the United States, the $150 000 flying ski-doo is capable of flying at 120 mph and has foldable wings for easy trailer transport.

Totally amphibious, the 22-foot long sports plane is built using high strength lightweight carbon fibre and features a cockpit designed to look like a performance car.
