Catwalk super diva Naomi Campbell has been immortalized in leather in this incredible artwork that is a cut above the rest.
Master carver Mark Evans – who captures the rich and famous in huge portraits etched into leather canvases — teamed up with the model for her Fashion for Relief 2010 event on February 18.
With unbelievable skill, Mark used his steady hands to create ‘Skin Deep’ — a portrait of Naomi based on a picture by acclaimed photographer Michael Thompson.
The stunning piece was auctioned off to bidders and helped to raise $2.2 million for the White Ribbon Alliance — an international charity aiming to ensure pregnancy and childbirth are safe for all women and newborns around the world.
