It was a strange sight to see tiger elephants marching on the celebrations of the Chinese new year in Ayutthaya, Thailand on Monday (February 15).

Plai Panlaan, aged 5, and Plai Noppokhao, 7, from The Elephant Kraal stood patiently for four hours as a team of six people painted them as tigers.

The stunt was to celebrate the year of the tiger and was watched by local dignitaries.
