The famous 39-year-old toothpick architect is set to smash the Guinness World Record for “Largest Toothpick Structure” with a masterpiece he has been working on for five years.

His creation, ToothPick City 2, already contains over 3.5 million toothpicks, over half a million more than the current record holder, a solid alligator of over 3 million flat toothpicks.

Stan, a NYC native, plans to get official Guinness confirmation by July 2010.

Toothpick City 2 contains over 50 iconic buildings at a 1:164 scale.

The city includes the Burj Khalifa, the Vatican, Angkor Wat, the Eiffel Tower London’s Tower Bridge, the Cutty Sark and Portsmouth’s Spinnaker Tower.
